Coach Jessica recently started coaching one her son’s hockey teams and her daughters team. She has 4 children that play hockey! She also plays in the adult league hockey with her husband Keith! But when off the ice, her favorite hobby is ready...when she has the time!

Axel club
Have you landed your axel or double axel?
Landing your very first Axel is an accomplishment that should be celebrated! Skaters who have landed a single or double axel will be featured on our Axel Club Board with a Gold Star (Green Star for double axel). Submissions can be made via the FFSC FB Page or email FFSCGeneral@gmail.com.

The Frederick Figures Skating Club is committed to creating a safe environment for
members’ physical, emotional, and social development and ensuring that it promotes an
environment free of misconduct.
Frederick FSC Code of Conduct: Skaters
The following codes of conduct are expected from all members of the US Figure Skating and Frederick Figure Skating Club. This includes at competitions, training camps, exhibitions, test sessions, and practices.
As FFSC members, we agree to uphold the guidelines set forth below:
1). I will always act in in a manner that is fair, ethical, and shows good sportsmanship in my dealings with others.
2). I will abide by all the rules set forth by US Figure Skating, FFSC, and Skate Frederick.
3). I will always act in a manner that is positive and and not detrimental toward others.
4.) I will be proud to be part of the FFSC and support my fellow skaters of all skating disciplines.
Frederick FSC Code of Conduct: Parents
The Frederick Figure Skating Club is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for members’ physical, emotional, and social development and ensuring that it promotes an environment free of misconduct. Parents of skaters will:
1). Encourage good sportsmanship by their actions, demonstrating positive support for all skaters, coaches, and officials at every practice, competition and session.
2). Place the emotional and physical well-being of their child and others ahead of their own desire to win 3). Encourage their child to skate in a safe and healthy environment by maintaining a respectful and courteous attitude toward others.
4). Teach their child that doing their best is more important than winning.
5). Will not ridicule, bully, blame, or yell at their child or other skaters, coaches, officials, or volunteers in response to a poor performance or for any other reason.
6). Teach their child to treat other skaters, coaches, fans, volunteers, officials, and rink staff with respect, regardless of race, creed, color, sexual orientation, or ability.
7). Take action and report any acts of bullying, harassment, or abuse
8). Be a positive role model for their child and others.
9). Will respect their child’s coach and refrain from “side line” coaching their child or other skaters.
10). Will respect the decision of officials, their authority and decision making during competitions and test sessions and teach their child to do the same.
11). Will show appreciation and recognize the importance of volunteers and club officials.
12). Will fulfill their responsibility to help their child with membership, special projects, competitions, and test sessions.
13). Agree to report to the appropriate entity any SafeSport or Code of Conduct violation that they observe.
14). Become familiar with the rules of US Figure Skating and teach their child accordingly.
15.) Will support and respect all skaters and their right to participate.
